The work your support would enable
Proposed funding priorities include qualified legal review, source verification and permissions, methodology and statistical support, supervised research assistance, model testing, secure research infrastructure, and public reporting.
Preparations are underway
Study preparations are underway. The roadmap shows how the research develops from design and legal review through testing and reporting.
A staged approach
Develop
Refine the Caribbean and US protocols, recruit local expertise, and verify legal sources.
Review
Prepare Caribbean and US scenarios and obtain local legal and methods review.
Test
Test both arms under aligned conditions and assess answers through blinded legal review.
Share
Publish findings for both arms and eligible matched comparisons, with limitations.
Research independence
Support should enable a fair study rather than a preferred result. Proposed sponsorship terms preserve research independence and do not give funders control over findings. Any recognition arrangement will be agreed separately.
Giving options
One-time and monthly gifts are available through our secure Zeffy donation campaign, with custom amounts and payments processed through Stripe. A fundraising target will be published after a research budget is approved. No donation amount is currently presented as purchasing a fixed research outcome.
Connected research, clear scope
The US arm adapts the Caribbean design to selected state and federal legal questions. Employment law and civil/commercial procedure connect the two arms through aligned methods and qualified legal review. See the shared research design. The donation campaign supports both the Caribbean and US arms of the Legal AI Reliability and Jurisdictional Reasoning Study.
